Paste your text and change its case in one click: UPPER CASE, lower case, Title Case, Sentence case, Capitalize Each Word, aLtErNaTe and iNVERT. It is the quickest way to fix text typed with Caps Lock on, tidy up headings, or format titles consistently.

The case styles explained

Style Example Good for
UPPER CASE FREE DOMAIN TOOLS Short labels, buttons, warnings. Hard to read in long text.
lower case free domain tools Usernames, hashtags, URLs, cleaning messy text before reformatting.
Title Case How to Buy a Domain in Pakistan Article titles, book titles, headings in English style guides.
Sentence case How to buy a domain in Pakistan Headings on modern websites, normal paragraphs, captions.
Capitalize Each Word How To Buy A Domain In Pakistan Names, labels and lists where every word should start with a capital.
aLtErNaTe fReE dOmAiN tOoLs Memes and playful posts.
iNVERT cASE fREE dOMAIN tOOLS Fixing text typed with Caps Lock accidentally on.

How to use it

  1. Paste or type your text in the box.

  2. Press the case you want. The text changes in place.

  3. Press Copy text and paste it wherever you need it.

You can press several buttons in a row; each one works on the current text. Everything happens in your browser.

Title Case vs Capitalize Each Word

These look similar but follow different rules. Capitalize Each Word does exactly what it says: every word starts with a capital, including small words like a, of and the.

Title Case follows English style rules. It capitalizes the important words and keeps short words in lowercase unless they are the first word or follow a colon. Words kept small include articles (a, an, the), short conjunctions (and, but, or, nor, for, so, yet) and short prepositions (of, in, on, at, to, by, up, as, via). So “how to buy a domain in pakistan” becomes “How to Buy a Domain in Pakistan”.

Different style guides disagree on details, such as whether to capitalize “with” or “from”. The converter uses a common, simple rule set. For an important headline, read the result once and adjust any word your style prefers.

Sentence case for modern websites

Many websites and apps now use sentence case for headings: only the first word and names are capitalized. It reads more naturally and feels less formal. Google’s own products, many news sites and most mobile apps use it. If your headings look shouty or old fashioned, try converting them to sentence case.

The converter capitalizes the first letter of each sentence and the word “I”. It cannot know which other words are names, such as Gilgit, Hostinger or WordPress, so check names after converting and capitalize them again if needed.

Common uses

Fixing Caps Lock text

Typed a whole paragraph with Caps Lock on? Use Sentence case to get normal text back, then fix any names.

Making headings consistent

Blogs often end up with some headings in Title Case and some in sentence case. Pick one style and convert all headings to it for a cleaner look.

Cleaning copied text

Text copied from PDFs or old documents often has strange capitals. Convert to lower case first, then to the style you need.

Preparing URLs and tags

Convert to lower case before using text in URLs, file names or hashtags. For full URL slugs, the Slug Generator also removes spaces and symbols.

Social media posts

A short line in UPPER CASE can grab attention, but whole posts in capitals feel like shouting. Use it sparingly.

Does case matter for SEO?

Search engines do not care whether your title uses Title Case or sentence case; both rank the same. Case affects how your result looks to people, though. A clean, consistent title is easier to read in search results. Avoid titles in all capitals, which look like spam and are harder to scan.

URLs are a different story. Some servers treat /Blog/ and /blog/ as different pages, which can create duplicates. Keep URLs in lowercase.

Case and other languages

Urdu, Arabic and many other scripts have no upper and lower case, so the converter leaves them unchanged. In mixed text, only the English letters change. Accented Latin letters, like those in French or Turkish, are converted correctly by the browser.

Case rules for common situations

Where Recommended case
Blog post titles Title Case or Sentence case, used consistently
Headings inside articles Sentence case is easiest to read
Buttons Sentence case (Get started) or Title Case (Get Started)
Navigation menus Title Case or sentence case, short words
Product names As the brand writes them
URLs and file names lower case
Email addresses lower case
Hashtags CamelCase like #GilgitBaltistan is easier to read and better for screen readers
Legal warnings Sometimes UPPER CASE by tradition, but sentence case is clearer

Brand names and special spellings

Some names have their own capital rules: WordPress, YouTube, TikTok, iPhone, WhatsApp, eBay, LinkedIn. Automatic converters do not know these, so after using Title Case or sentence case, scan for brand names and fix them. Getting a brand’s name right looks professional; getting it wrong looks careless, especially in a review or a pitch to that brand.

Accessibility and capital letters

Text in all capitals is harder to read for many people, including those with dyslexia, because word shapes disappear when every letter is the same height. Screen readers may also read some all-caps words letter by letter, as if they were abbreviations. For anything longer than a short label, use sentence case or Title Case. If you want a heading to look like capitals, keep the real text in normal case and use CSS text-transform: uppercase, so assistive tools still read it correctly.

Case in programming and file names

Developers use special case styles that this converter does not cover directly, such as camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case and kebab-case. For web addresses and file names, kebab-case (words in lower case joined by hyphens) is the safest choice, and the Slug Generator produces it automatically.

A quick workflow for messy text

  1. Paste the text and press lower case to remove random capitals.

  2. Press Sentence case or Title Case, depending on where the text will go.

  3. Fix names, brands and places by hand.

  4. Copy and paste into your document or website.

Title Case examples to copy

  • How to Start a Blog in Pakistan Without Spending Much
  • The Best Time to Visit Hunza and Skardu
  • What Is a Domain Name and Why Do You Need One?
  • Free Tools Every Website Owner Should Know

Notice how short words like to, a, in, and and the stay lowercase in the middle, while the first word and the main words start with capitals.

Sentence case examples to copy

  • How to start a blog in Pakistan without spending much
  • The best time to visit Hunza and Skardu
  • What is a domain name and why do you need one?

Only the first word and proper names, like Pakistan, Hunza and Skardu, are capitalized. This style is relaxed and easy to scan, which is why many modern websites use it for every heading.

Case and email subject lines

Email subject lines in all capitals often look like spam to readers and to spam filters. Sentence case or Title Case reads more like a message from a real person. Keep the subject short, specific and in normal case for the best chance of being opened.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalize Each Word?

Title Case keeps small words like a, of and the in lowercase unless they come first. Capitalize Each Word capitalizes every single word.

Will it keep names capitalized in sentence case?

It cannot detect names, so it lowercases them. Capitalize names again after converting.

Is my text stored?

No. The converter runs in your browser and nothing is sent or saved.

Does it work with Urdu?

Urdu has no capital letters, so Urdu text stays the same. English words in mixed text are converted.

Which case is best for blog headings?

Either Title Case or sentence case works. Pick one and use it everywhere for a consistent look.

Is it free?

Yes, free with no signup.

Can I undo a change?

Press Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z on Mac) in the text box to undo, or paste your original text again.

Why do some small words stay lowercase in Title Case?

English style guides keep short articles, conjunctions and prepositions in lowercase unless they start the title. The converter follows that rule.

Does it change numbers or symbols?

No. Only letters change. Numbers, punctuation and emojis stay exactly as they are.

Is there a limit on text length?

No practical limit. Very long texts may take a moment on older phones.

Can I convert text on my phone?

Yes. The tool works in any mobile browser. Paste the text, tap a case button and tap Copy.

Does Title Case work for headings in other languages?

Title Case rules are mainly for English. Many languages, including French and Spanish, use sentence case for titles.

Will it keep my line breaks?

Yes. Line breaks and paragraphs stay exactly where they were.
